You may be amazed at how just a few ‘nips and tucks’ to your plan can make all the difference in the world.
It may just be that you chose a product that you personally liked and as it turned out you were not able to find enough people that agreed with you. That is why it is best to do a little research to find out what people are after. What are they buying? You may be able to find out in different ways but the simplest one is to run queries in the search engines online to gain different perspectives.
For example ask ‘most searched words on google’ and you will find ‘Trends’ and links to sites like http://www.searchenginewatch.com which right now is discussing how mobile advertising is all the balm – so that’s a real clue about how you might want to do things differently. This site has a whole bunch of interesting articles that will help you to stay informed about Internet marketing and other things relevant to online home businesses.
If you apply these methods you can also be more direct with a phrase like “what are people buying online” – you will find several interesting sites that give demographics, etc. One of the very wisest things that was ever said was “Don’t choose a product and then look for a market to sell it to (uphill battle) – Instead find out what the market is looking for and give it to them” (much less resistance).
